Dennis’s professional career was in building custom homes, which gave him an affinity for structures and how they are put together. He pioneered incorporating energy and resource efficiencies in his projects as well as many sustainable materials. Since his retirement, he has taken up sketching and watercolor painting with a passion. Much of his work is plein air, which combines his love of nature and the outdoors with the beauty of buildings.
